The Barbari goat, a goat breed from the Uttar Pradesh and Punjab provinces of northwestern India and Pakistan, is used primarily for its meat. It generally has a white coat. It was basically originated in berbera, somalia of east Africa. In India its breeding tract is Agra, Etah and Etawah.〔http://www.goatgyan.com/breeding/indian-breeds〕 The Barbari is a meat type breed that is found in Mathura District of Uttarpradesh, as well as Gujrat in India and Jhelum and Sargodha districts in Punjab Province, Pakistan. They are a small size and their color is white creamy to golden. Spotted animals also come across.
